Weekend Recap

Hey everyone!
I've been a little MIA going through some personal stuff and having some awesome adventures with Cody.
Friday night Cody and I cuddled up to watch Back to the Future which I've never seen. It was a pretty low-key night after the day we had on Thursday (I'll blog about it tomorrow) which is what I needed.

Saturday Cody took me mini-golfing and then playing around the arcade at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
Our awesome indoor mini-golf course
It was really cold and foggy on Saturday so it was nice to stay inside and have some fun
I didn't get very far with this shot...though I ended up winning mini-golf
After mini-golfing my tummy started to grumble so I tracked down a pretzel cart and inhaled my first soft pretzel in quite a while. There used to be a Wetzel Pretzel in our mall, but then they moved and I couldn't get soft pretzels anymore. Yay for buttery, salty goodness.
We went to the arcade after some food and I got to try my hand at this shooting game they have. I did pretty well, but unfortunately the game wasn't working right and wouldn't recognize the shots I was making, but I got some tickets out of it so that's all that counts. Cody won a lot of tickets and turned them in so I could get this little Tigger figurine.
On our way out of the boardwalk I got a chocolate dipped cone that I've been craving for ages.
I had to take Cody to work not too long after and then I went grocery shopping which surprisingly took me over an hour to complete. I underestimated how much time it would take to go to 3 different stores, but I got some yummy new treats.
Like these amazingly delicious snacks. They're so peanut buttery and just damn yummy.
And this yummy dinner from Amy's
I made some walnut cherry bars which I'll post the recipe too soon.

Sunday I went to San Jose with my mom to visit my grandma and walk around their huge mall. I got a few more school supplies because school starts next month (gulp!). I have my official schedule finally and got into all the classes I wanted this semester. Whoot whoot!
After we made the long trek home I whipped up two dinners for Cody and I to split for the next two weeks which I'll also be posting about soon.

I hope everyone had a good weekend!
